FRANK | Closer To Me

LYRICS:

I know you want me, yeah
On your own sometime today
I'm looking to somebody, yeah
Who can hold love down today
And you shoulda know
There was something to do-oo
And I should've known better
When I'm dancing with you-oo
With a little magic I guess that I do-oo
So listen when I say I'll never love again
So don't go damn it too

Closer to me, you get so closer to me
You take me higher than I need
So don't go never
You get closer to me
You get so close I can't breathe
You're setting fire in me
And I don't know better

Don't get me wrong we could be strange
Look at the stars they make a better way
'Cos I get my highs living my lows
But you give me something
I can keep 'til it grows

And you shoulda gone get us
Something to do-oo
And I should've known better
When I'm dancing with you-oo
With a little magic I guess that I do-oo
So listen when I say I'll never love again
So don't go damn it too

Closer to me, you get so closer to me
You take me higher than I need
So don't go never
You get closer to me
You get so close I can't breathe
You're setting fire in me
And I don't know better

'Cos I could be the wrong girl understand
Your loving makes me up down in your hand
But all it takes to break me on the floor
Your lovin' only makes me want you more

Ooooh-ooh, oh baby I love you
Ooooh-ooh, yeah that's how I feel
Ooooh-ooh, oh, baby I love you
Ooooh-ooh, now I'm breaking the deal

REVIEWS:
x "Closer to Me" is a foot tapping little ditty which fits perfectly into the pop sleeve. It carries the kind of melody which will be stuck circumnavigating your head for hours and undoubtedly will eventually force you to contemplate throwing the cd away. It is however this pop-ability that creates stars. Gary Lancaster
