GIRLS ALOUD | Miss You Bow Wow

LYRICS:

Everybody love love loves
Everybody everybody love love loves
Everybody everybody love love loves
Everybody everybody loves a lover

All I do do do when my demons hit
I dial 999 saying get a doctor
I'm so damn tired of your shadow
Breaking my heart in two oh baby
At night, when my demons hit
I dial 999 sayin' need a doctor
I'm so damn tired of your shadow
Making my heart and soul go crazy

I miss you now now now
You're lookin' bow wow wow
I'm slippin' down down down
I miss you now now now
I miss you now now now
You're lookin' bow wow wow
I'm slippin' down down down
I miss you now now now

I remember livin' that dream
20 minutes in the hotel bar
Then I slip into your girlfriend's jeans
And I remember, said baby hold tight
20 hours in the twilight zone
The only lovers in the world that night
Oh I

You're talking like you're
Gonna do the stupid thing
Everybody wants to see you do that thing
We're jumpin'in together
When the bottle spins
They wanna see it stop and let the fun begin

All I do do do when my demons hit
I dial 999 saying get a doctor
I'm so damn tired of your shadow
Breaking my heart in two oh baby
At night, when my demons hit
I dial 999 sayin' need a doctor
I'm so damn tired of your shadow
Making my heart and soul go crazy

I miss you now now now
You're lookin' bow wow wow
I'm slippin' down down down
I miss you now now now
I miss you now now now
You're lookin' bow wow wow
I'm slippin' down down down
I miss you now now now

I remember livin' that dream
20 minutes in the hotel bar
Then I slip into your girlfriend's jeans
And I remember, said baby hold tight
20 hours in the twilight zone
The only lovers in the world that night
Oh I

REVIEWS:

x Miss You Bow Wow could well be the most exhilarating song of the year, being almost ridiculously danceable, having a gloriously soaring chorus and some surreal lyrics about "slipping into your girlfriend's jeans". John Murphy

x Miss You Bow Wow is Xenomania production at it's best, and is like a non-stop string of choruses strung together in four minutes of pop perfection with some fantastic lines ("I remember living that dream, twenty minutes in the hotel bar, then I slip into your girlfriends jeans"). Andrew Grear

x The hilariously titled Miss You Bow Wow comes complete with two choruses, the second which sees the groups brilliant and always rowdy piss-pot Sarah Harding sing "I remember living the dream, 20 minutes in the hotel bar, then I slipped into your girlfriends jeans," which then throws in a phone call to 999 "to get a doctor." Absolutely Bonkers. And just when you think it can't get any better, the last 55 seconds turn the song into a clever instrumentation of electro-pop blips-and-bops. It's this odd, experimental and unusual song structure that make Girls Aloud so relevant and important. adem with an e

x If you're missing the frantic tracks then this is one you're going to love. It starts quite calmly with Part I and talky singing 'Everybody love love loves'. Then there's Pt II about calling 999. Part III grabs the 'Miss You Bow Wow' title and repeats it before Part IV flirts and teases about 'slipping into your girlfriends jeans'. 4 parts - but then there's even more later! It's really fast, really repetative, and really amazing! It goes completely instrumental at the end for about 45 seconds. Karinski

x Bonkersosity pop is back with Miss You Bow Wow, a frenetic tune that like one of those roller coasters that catapults you off at a ridiculous speed, gets going straight away and never lets up with four distinct separate parts of the song and each one most pleasing. Love the "do do do/999" symmetry refrain just before the chorus hits. FizzyPop

x The intro kicks off with "everybody love love loves everybody everybody love love loves everybody everybody love love loves everybody everybody loves good loving". VERY GOOD. It might not actually be "good loving". It might be something else. The important bit, though, is the "everybody love love loves everybody everybody love love loves" portion - a lot of the song's based on a lyrical repetition but what's most amazing about this is how the song shoots off in a series of unexpected directions as it progresses - a trick which continues right into the last forty seconds. This might have the best chorus, melodically, and lyrically, on the album. Popjustice
